NEST

Nest is a Parisian artist born at the end of the 1970s. Self-taught, he began his artistic activity with graffiti in 1996. Very influenced by hip-hop culture, he worked at the beginning of 2000 in the music industry as a graphic designer. He then abandoned graffiti to concentrate on his work, influenced by the masters of Street Art, such as Banksy for example. Like the latter, he develops his artistic universe tinged with nonconformism, rebellion, social criticism, tinged with irony and humor. Always in search of novelty and learning, he now focuses on tattooing and its rich universe which continues to influence him.

Nest est un artiste Parisien né à la fin des années 70. Autodidacte il débute son activité artistique par le graffiti en 1996. Très influencé par la culture hip-hop, il travaille début 2000 dans l’industrie musicale en tant que graphiste. Il délaisse par la suite le graff pour se concentrer sur son travail, influencé par les maîtres du Street Art, comme Banksy par exemple. A l’instar de ce dernier, il développe son univers artistique teinté d’anticonformisme, de rebellion, de critique sociale, teinté d’ironie et d’humour. Toujours en quête de nouveauté et d’apprentissage il se concentre désormais sur le tatouage et son univers riche qui continue de l’influencer.
